Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I have also lived and worked in Florida, California, Connecticut, New York, and South Korea. Growing up, I attended The Westminster Schools from 2002-2015, and swam year-round at Dynamo Swim Club, before committing to swim competitively at the University of Southern California.
While at USC, I helped my team to the 2016 PAC-12 Women's Swimming & Diving Championship title, and landed my first "big" journalism job working live television production with NBC at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. In 2019, I graduated Cum Laude as a Stevens Scholar (student-athlete with 3.5 GPA or above) from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Sports Media Studies. Since then, I have worked for organizations across the country including NBC News, NBC Sports, USA Swimming, Greenwich Country Day School, and The Westminster Schools.
In my free time, I love taking my rescue pup, Friday, on new hikes and traveling to new states. So far, he has visited 31/50 states! I also spend much of our down time painting, photographing friends, seeking out new tea shops (hot/iced green tea), and searching for shark teeth on the beach at Amelia Island, Florida.
My passion for sports media and journalism lies within storytelling and fully believing I can make a meaningful connection and experience for all, and learn something new from every interaction. Meeting new people, sharing stories, connecting with others, and being able to communicate another's story in a way that brings us all closer together, are just a few of my favorite aspects of being a multimedia journalist and content creator.
